Ideas Bedroom Chill Aesthetic Room

I

If you are wanting to add a chill vibe to your bedroom but don’t know how, here are some of the best chill room ideas, which will help to transform your room into a place of comfort and calm, while still making your room look amazing.

Your room should be your place to decompress and take a break from the outside world. There’s nothing quite like coming home after a long day and just unwinding in your room, normally with a glass of wine and a book.

I am very particular about my bedroom as it’s my chill spot. I go there to read, study, write, watch tv and generally just relax and have some much needed me time.

If you’re anything like me, get creative and have fun decorating the bedroom or dorm of your dreams. I promise, you won’t be able to wait to get home, especially if you follow the first tip….

Ways To Add A Chill Vibe To Your Bedroom

Candles add the most soothing effect to a room and can delight the senses in more ways than one. Not only is the light of a candle comforting, but you can choose scented candles that let off the most wonderful aroma in your room.

There are so many different scents to choose from, and incense holders can add to the décor as well. Plus, they give your room a very boho feel

These ceramic candles from Anthropologie have the most incredible, unique scents, and have a wonderful look about them too.

Choose A Color Scheme:

It is so important to choose a color scheme that will bring that chill vibe to your room. You don’t want something bright and in your face. Choose warmer colors that help bring about tranquility. Make sure that the colors you choose complement each other so that it does not seem mismatched or chaotic.

Keeping the colors simple is a good idea, as you could highlight the scheme with pops of warmer colors here and there using décor items. This allows you to change the look of your room without having to repaint the walls.

Set Up LED Strip Lights

If you want subtle and serene lighting in your room, you should hang up some LED strip lights. These lights can really transform your room, especially at night when they get to shine. You can use the lights in the most creative ways. Some areas on where to line the lights up are:

  • Around the base of your bed
  • Around your headboard
  • Along the edge of the closet
  • Around the ceiling border
  • Around your TV

The great thing about these lights is that you can hang them up and take them down easily, and you can move them around your room to change it up a bit, or to find out where you like them the best. You can also choose the colors you want, or buy LED lights that change colors!

Plants connect us to nature, and what better way to feel chilled than by keeping some indoor plants in your room. You could also choose the pot planter that matches the rest of the décor in your room.

There are many different indoor plants that you could keep in your room, and if you just cannot keep a plant alive, you could always opt for fake plants. Succulents are also a great choice to keep, as they are very hardy!

Even artificial flowers in a vase will make a wonderful addition to a chill room, and make it feel that much more relaxing and comforting. These planters are absolutely stunning, and add to a neutral theme in a room, and are a great base to grow a plant!

Add Some Throw Pillows

Throw pillows not only add a comforting, chill vibe to a room, but they are wonderfully colorful a well. When choosing throw pillows, try to choose neutral colors that will suit different themes and décor. This way, you don’t have to replace your pillows each time you want to change the look of your room.

Find pillows that have fun patterns and different textures. Pillows are also easy to set up – simply prop them up on your bed.

These cushions are wonderful for a chilled, calming room and will go with lots of different decors.

Wall Art

Wall art is one of the easiest ways to change the look of the room and to add your own flair to space as well. There is such a wide variety of types of wall art you can hang in your room, and the right wall piece can add to the feel of your space.

The art you choose should be something you love, something that speaks out to you. Make sure it is something that you wouldn’t mind looking at every day!

To add to the aesthetic of a chill room, you could go for different types of wall art, whether it be painted fabric, canvas, or even a light-up sign.

Your wall art will make your room feel more of your own and will make it your favorite room to be in.

One of my absolute favorite places to get prints is Society6. There are so many unique and creative designs, plus you’re supporting the artist directly!

Play Calming Music

Music offers us a range of emotions and is so influential on how we feel. Why not keep a speaker in your room to play the music that chills and calms you?

You could go for a small portable speaker, or a more intricate sound system to suit what you prefer, but either way, connect it to your streaming app and play some music that allows you to unwind and have a chilled time.

Choose a speaker color that matches the rest of your decor in your room. This soundbox comes in a few different colors and is a touchscreen with great sound.

Accent With Wallpaper

When adding wallpaper to your room, you do not have to cover a whole wall. You can add wallpaper accents to give a pop of color or pattern to the space.

Use wallpaper to create a headboard, place the wallpaper on your door, or place it along the ceiling.

Choose a wallpaper with a warm tone to add to the chill vibe in the room.

There is such a wide range of wallpaper to choose from to suit your space. I’m a big fan of abstract wallpaper personally!

You should have no problem finding one you love!
