First, she announced she had given her several-year-old daughter to her father’s care because she could no longer take care of her. She later admitted that she had been a companion for 10 years. Karolina Plachimowicz gained popularity thanks to her participation in the “Project Lady” program. She wanted to be a lady. She wanted to quit prostitution but could not do so herself. Why?

Her bold confessions shocked the public. She admitted that she voluntarily gave her daughter to a partner she broke up with. And then announced to the world that she was a prostitute. The media became interested in the fate of Karolina Plachimowicz, who was a participant in the second edition of the “Lady’s Project”. Although a wave of hate flooded her. Because they do not use Poles to such bold confessions from public figures. Plachimowicz regrets nothing.

Are you proud of yourself?

Karolina Plachimowicz: Yes, because I did not hurt anyone in my life, I did not cheat; I did not benefit from anyone, and I could. Even my clients tell me, “You don’t fit into this world. You are so good, so obliging”. And although I have been working as a prostitute for 10 years, they tell me I do not have the “fucking character” that girls often have in this industry.

It takes a lot of courage to say publicly, “I am a prostitute.” Yes, but I had no other choice. In the Netherlands, I met a Pole who fell in love with me and wanted to be with me. I told him I wouldn’t get involved with him, so he started blackmailing me. He threatened to tell everyone where I work and to make my nude photos public. So I finally said enough. If people are to find out the truth about me, it will be from me, not him.

Why did you become a prostitute?

It started when I was 19. In the beginning, I worked in Germany. I met a friend there, and she persuaded me to do so. She said that I would earn money quickly, and then I needed it badly to support myself. I thought I would work for a while and return to normal life. Nobody told me then that entering the world of prostitution is like a one-way ticket. It is like a drug. You cannot get out of it on your own.

But are you glad you told the truth about yourself?

Yes. For 10 years I led a double life, and it was very difficult to lie constantly. I was deceiving my loved ones and myself. Now that everything is out, the stone has fallen from my heart.

What are your plans for the future?

A wonderful future, and stabilize me. I don’t want to be a prostitute for the rest of my life. Obliviously, I need to get out of this world. I just don’t know-how.
